Domino's Pizza moving down the street With November 15 as a target date, the local Domino's Pizza store, 318 West Union St., will be moving to 243 East Union St., beside Santelli Photo. Mike Colacino is the owner of the East Union St. building, and Greg Grey owns the Newark Domino's franchise. FLACRA, current tenant at 310 West Union, plans to take over the space to be vacated by Domino's. Our staff has learned that a franchisee for Tim Horton's Restaurants has expressed an interest in purchasing the burned-out CanalView Restaurant property at 247 West Union St. No other details are available at this time. Tim Horton's, based in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, is part of Wendy's International Inc. and has been growing its operation in the northern part of the United States. Presently, there are 2200 stores in Canada, and 160 in the United States. Menu items at a typical store include coffees and 59 varieties of doughnuts as well as made-to-order sandwiches, soups, and chicken stew. The chain was started by and named for legendary Toronto Maple Leafs/Buffalo Sabres hockey player Tim Horton. Copyright
