Taylor, Alice H. (Nana) - Alice H. (Nana) Taylor, 62, of Sodus, died June 28, 2005. She is survived by her husband Paul Taylor Sr.; children, Geraldine (Victor) Murray, Paul (Sarah Harmon) Taylor Jr., Dawn (Robert) VanDyke, Kristi Taylor & Terry Taylor; grandchildren, Jonathon, Sammantha, Christopher, Robbie & Liam; one brother, four sisters, nieces & nephews. Huebeler, Jane - Jane Huebeler, 82, of Brookview Drive, died Thursday, June 30 at her home. Mrs. Huebeler was born in Seneca Falls, NY on November 2, 1922, the daughter of Joseph and Thelma Hughes McParland. She was the manager of the cosmetic department at Wayne Drugs for over 44 years. For the past several years, she has been Administrative Specialist at the HSBC Bank in Newark. Jane was a communicant of St. Michael Church. For many years, she enjoyed being a pen pal with students of Lincoln School. Jane had been a member of the Newark Country Club and was an avid golfer, bowler and belonged to many bridge leagues. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, July 1st at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller St., Newark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Peter Clifford at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 2nd at St. Michael's Church, South Main Street, Newark. Burial will be in the Newark Cemetery. Memorials in her name may be made to the St. Michael's School, 320 South Main St., Newark, NY 14513. Survivors include her two daughters Nancy (David) Collins of Newark and Peggy MacMillan of Sodus Point, four granddaughters Maureen (Ramazan) Collins-Selamet, Jennifer (Jesse) Strazzabosco, Courtney (Michael) Nugent and Molly Jane MacMillan; three great grandsons Zachary, Benjamin and John David; a sister Alice Kemak of Seneca Falls, a special sister-in-lawn Katie Huebeler of Newark, many nieces and nephews. Jane was predeceased by her husband Kenneth in 1976, her twin brother John "Jack" McParland last month and a brother Hugh McParland.

Austin, Herbert - Herbert Barry Austin, Jr., 87, of Newark, died June 28 at Rochester General Hospital. Herbert was born November 12, 1917 in Sodus, the son of Herbert and Eunice Beischer Howard Austin. The Army flag flew at the funeral home, in honor of his service during WWII (1941-45). Herbert retired from Garlock Inc. in 1973, after 22 years service as an inspector. Herbert is survived by his wife, Rosita; daughters, Judith (Paul) Johnson of Newark, Amy (Charles) Rogers of Virginia Beach, VA; son, Jay (Deborah) Austin of Bath; step-son, Albert (Joanne) Garcia of Newark; step-daughters, Inez Garcia of Rochester, Marla (David) Klingler of Newark, Shirley (Bobby) Wooden of Newark; 16 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; a brother, Charles (Pola) of Yucaipa, CA. He was predeceased in 1993 by his wife, Caroline, and in 2005 by his sister, Ina Benton. Arrangements entrusted to the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., Newark. Holmes, Vera - Vera J. Holmes, 83, of Newark, died June 27, 2005. She was born April 15, 1922 in Frankfort. For 33 years she had been a Newark resident. She was a 1944 graduate of Potsdam University and taught elementary education for several years. Vera was a member of the Park Presbyterian Church where she had been the flower chairman. She also had been a member of the Newark Country Club. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, David E., son, Alan W. (Carol) of Niskayuna; two grandsons, Kevin A. and Gary C. (Amy) Holmes and a great-granddaughter, Maggie. A funeral service will be held June 30 in the Chapel of Park Presbyterian Church, Maple Court, in Newark with the Rev. Deborah Grohman officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica. The family is being served by Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home. Schutt, Clarence - Clarence E. Schutt, 88, of Newark, died June 28, 2005. He was a WWII Army veteran and a retiree of Sarah Coventry of Newark. Clarence is survived by his son, Richard (Elaine) Schutt of Phelps, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. At his request, calling hours will not be observed and the courtesy of no flowers. A private service will be held, with interment in the Marion Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Young Funeral Home, Williamson.

Miller, Sadie - Sadie E. Waske Davis Miller, 92, of Sodus, died June 24, 2005. Sadie was a great-grandmother of 21 and great-great-grandmother of two. She was predeceased by husbands Lawrence L. Davis, Sr., and Gordon E. Miller, and daughter Nancy (John) Clark. She is survived by sons, Donald L. (Delphina) Davis of California and Lawrence L. (Jean) Davis Jr. of Sodus; nine grandchildren, including Theresa (Daniel) Ver Schage of Sodus and Steven (Eva) Hyatt of Newark; nieces, nephews; special friends, Paula LaClaire, Pauline Dodge and Dwen Giljam. Friends called at Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main St., Sodus. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Church of the Epiphany in Sodus, with interment in Sodus Rural Cemetery. Cauchois, Nancy - Nancy Robson Valby Cauchois, 79, of Sodus Point, died June 27, 2005, following a long illness. Nancy was born in Rochester, the daughter of William Nelson and Ann Tracy Robson. She lived several years in Newark as a youth and attended and participated in services at St. Mark's Episcopal Church. She also lived in New York City, Ft. Myers, Florida and Sodus Point. She loved gardening and flowers and was past president of the highland Park Castle Garden Club. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Frederic Cauchois. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Lynn) Carlyle of Sodus Point; five grandchildren; dear friends, James S. Valby, Susan Jansen of Marion, Scott and Patty Williams of Sodus Point. Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. on July 1, 2005 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church 400 S. Main St. in Newark, with the Rev. Carmen Seufert officiating. Kiblin, Beatrice - Beatrice Kiblin, 72, of Huron, died June 27, 2005 at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. Beatrice was born the daughter of John and Clara Burdick Kiblin on March 29, 1933. Beatrice will be remembered by a niece Alice Lyons; and all her friends at DDSO and the Huron Home. Arrangements were made by the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark. Her funeral service was officiated by Deacon Ed Sergeant. Interment is in North Wolcott Cemetery.

Wilson, Marguerite - Marguerite A. Wilson, 90, of Savannah, died June 27, 2005, in the Wayne County Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm, a great-granddaughter Allison VanEs, and her brother, Spencer Brill. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie (William) Cahoon of Wolcott, six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, one great-grandson; her brother, Keith (Nadine) Brill of Newark; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call July 1, Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Colvin-Norton Funeral Home, 13081 West Church St., Savannah, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be in the North Main Cemetery in Newark. Sutton, Arlow - Arlow Miner Sutton, 82, of Lake Havasu City, AZ, died June 24, 2005. Arlow was born October 20, 1922, in Elmira, to Marie Madeline (Alexander) and John Miner Sutton. He graduated from Southside High School, in Elmira, then moved to Syracuse, where he worked for New York Telephone for many years. He served in WWII, establishing Armed Forces tele-communication lines along the Alcan Highway, and continued working for New York Telephone after returning home. He was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. He married Anna Casini, in 1947, then graduated Phi Kappa Phi from Syracuse University in 1956, while working full time and raising a family. In 1969, Arlow relocated to Lake Havasu City as manager of Citizens Utilities Telephone Co., launching such conveniences as direct dial, in the newly-established city. He later sold insurance with Andy LaLande Insurance Co. Arlow devotedly and enthusiastically served the community of Lake Havasu in many capacities. He was a founding member of Grace Episcopal Church; London Bridge Rotary Club, where he served as President, as co-chair of Havasu Dollar coin sales, and later was honored as a Paul Harris Fellow; Havasu Community Concerts; and Havasu Historical Society, where he served as Treasurer. For many years, he was a featured actor with Havasu Theatre Guild, which he enjoyed tremendously. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anna (Casini) Sutton; six children - Scott (Cinda) Sutton of Coconut Creek, FL; Gail (Steven) Kise of Lilburn, GA; Nancy (Ken) Howell of Flower Mound, TX; Marie (Scott) Burnham of Newark; Stephen Sutton of Lake Havasu City; and Teresa Sutton of Needles, CA; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Louise Sutton and cousin, Betty Graner, both of Elmira. He was predeceased by his brother, John (Bud), in 1969, and his sister, Marie, in 1994. A memorial service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church in Lake Havasu City. Interment is at Nathan Littlejohn Memorial Garden, at Grace Episcopal Church. Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Havasu, 365 S. Gotshall, Josh - Joshua Michael Josh Gotshall, 27 of Ford Road, Newark, died Saturday, June 25, 2005 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Calling hours are Tuesday (June 28) from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark where a funeral service will be Wednesday (June 29) at 10 a.m. with Rev. Josh was born July 11, 1977 in Newark, the son of Lydia Gotshall and the late Ricky Russell. He was a Newark High School graduate. He joined the Army, serving for three years. Sanford, Charlotte - Charlotte A. Sanford, 62, of Clifton Springs, died June 23, 2005 at the House of John in Clifton Springs, surrounded by her loving family. Charlotte was born Jan. 26, 1943, in Clifton Springs, the daughter of the late Peter and Mildred Price and had lived in the area all of her life. She was employed as a quality control inspector for UltraLife Batteries Inc., and prior to that Charlotte was a waitress at the Town Pump Restaurant. She was a member of the Humane Society, the Arthritis Foundation, ASPCA, Northshore Ambulance League and the Joyce Meyers Ministry. Charlotte loved her cats - Oranges, Tiger, Smokey, Oreo and Checkers. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Theresa 'Terri' (Ronald Bently) Black of Gasport, Tracy (John Brice) Sanford of Clifton Springs, Tricia (Richard) VanSlyke of Syracuse; their father, Lawrence C. Sanford of Clifton Springs; grandchildren, Kalila and Krystal Black, Khadijah Sanford, Johnathan Bice, Joseph and Alexandra VanSlyke; brother, Tom (June) Price of Newark; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, greatnephews and cousins. Guidarelli, Dr. Andrew E. - Dr. Andrew E. Guidarelli of Rochester, died June 23, 2005, at age 80. He is survived by his wife Mary (Manning); daughter, Mary (Mark) Armstrong of NH and 7 sons, Francis (Ngoc-My) of VA, John of MI, Michael of CO, Stephen (Camille), James (Diane), Thomas (Karen) Guidarelli, and Gregory (Qing Qing) of NJ; sister, Jane Guidarelli of Wesley Gardens; 19 grandchildren.  Dr. Guidarelli was a graduate of Columbia University and Pennsylvania College of Optometry.  He was a member and Past President of the NYS Optometric Association as well as a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry.  He practiced in Penn Yan,  Newark, and Hyannis, MA.  He was a veteran of WWII. Dr. Guidarelli was active in RIT’s Athenaeum and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Strong, Mary Anne - Mary Anne Strong, 90, of West Church Street in Savannah, died on Monday, June 20, 2005. Mary was born March 13, 1915 in Wyoming, PA, the daughter of Harry and Bessie Mae Proof Comstock. She had worked for the General Electric Co. in Clyde for 15 years. Mary attended the Clyde United Methodist Church and was a member of the Clyde Grange. She had lived in Clyde for many years. Mary was predeceased by her husband, James W., who died in 1997; her daughter, Dorthea Dandino; and her granddaughter, Wendy Barkley. She is survived by her four daughters, Janet Verscheure and Peggie (Kenneth) Bennett, all of Michigan, Lucy (Don) Barkley Sr. of Canandaigua and Susanne (Jack) Jorgensen of Savannah; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. Nelson, Kathryn - Kathryn Nelson, 89, formerly of Clifton Springs, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at Elm Manor Nursing Home. Kathryn was born April 2, 1916, in Sayre, PA, the daughter of Samuel & Rose Maslyn. She worked for several years at Garlock Packing before retiring from the Newark State School as a building manager. Kathryn will be missed by all her loving friends and family. She is survived by her grandchildren, Sharon Arenivar and Gregg Nicholson; 5 great-grandchildren; niece, Cellia Powell; sister-in-law, Inez Veto; grandniece, Mary Jane Gow; and several other grandnieces and grandnephews. Youngs, Marguerite Jane - Marguerite Jane Youngs, 80, of Phelps St., Lyons, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 18, 2005 at her home. Jane was born April 28, 1925, in Holland Patent, a daughter to Everett E. and Marguerite Robert Evans. She retired from Newark Developmental Center after many years of employment. Surviving are her son, Douglas (Bonnie) Youngs of Nevada; daughter, Karen (Paul) Bartishevich of Trumansburg; six grandchildren, Benn, Jay, Alec, Anna Leigh, Isabel, and Connor; and sister, Sally Sorensen of Newark. Graham, Larry K. - Larry K. Graham, 64, died peacefully at his home in Phelps on Saturday, June 18, 2005 with his family by his side after a courageous fight with cancer. Larry was born Jan. 11, 1941 in Sodus, the son of the late Carl E. and Florence Marie Shaffer. He was a member of the United Church of Phelps and the Phelps Volunteer Fire Department. Larry retired after 35 years as supervisor with Phelps Guide Rail. He was predeceased by his first wife, Joan Graham; and two sisters, Ann Landis and Patty Perkins. Catlin, Dorothy - Dorothy Catlin, 93, died peacefully at her home on Fairville Station Road, Arcadia, Tuesday, June 14, 2005. She also taught at Mud Mills Country School and Kelley School. Dorothy dedicated 40 yrs. to teaching. Among her many accomplishments, Dorothy was an elder & Sunday school teacher for her church. She also was the church historian & member of the Presbyterian Women. Dorothy represented the Presbyterian Church in Puerto Rico where she helped start a church. She also was a member of Business Professional Womens Club, Rural Teachers Assoc., Wayne County Retired Teachers Assoc., Western Central Zone Teachers Assoc., NYS Retired Teachers Assoc., Coterie, Hoffman Foundation, Republican committee of Newark, Arcadia and Wayne County, Historical Society of Wayne County, Arcadia and Sodus Point. Dorothy traveled often, going on cruises and visiting more than 53 countries. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Harold in 1969. She is survived by 1 sister, Laura Carlton of FL; 2 brothers, Ralph (Hope) Miller of FL, Robert Miller of FL; sister-in-law, Lorraine Miller of Jamestown; 16 nieces & nephews; 22 grand-nieces & nephews. Aunkst, Eva M. - Eva M. Aunkst, 84, formerly of Lyons, a resident of the DeMay Living Center in Newark, died Friday (June 10, 2005) at Newark Wayne Community Hospital. Eva was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Rochester, a daughter to Emil and Louise Sun Hildebrandt. She was a past member of the Lyons BPOE Auxiliary and the Lyons Fire Department Auxiliary. She is survived by her seven children, Linda Busco of Lyons, Nancy (Harold) Lead of Lyons, Yvonne (James) Abraham of Arizona, Robin (Steven) Poole of North Rose, Richard (Ding) Aunkst of California, Krystine (Jack) Ruckdeschel of Lyons and Harry (Patricia) Aunkst of Lyons; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry, in 1979.

Maslyn, Elmer - Elmer Maslyn, 75, of Pearl St., Clifton Springs, died Saturday, May 28, 2005, at the Clifton Springs Nursing Home. Elmer was born August 5, 1929 in Clifton Springs, the son of Elmer and Margaret Maslyn, and had lived in the area all of his life. He was a lifelong farmer, owning and operating his own farm which is now in its fourth generation. Farming was Elmer's life. He was a member of Farm Bureau and an active member of St. Felix Church. Elmer loved to hunt. He was happiest spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he adored. Elmer will be sadly missed by all of his loving friends and family. De Looze, Eugene L. - Eugene L. De Looze, 82, of Port Gibson, died Sunday, May 29, 2005, at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. Mr. De Looze was born July 31, 1922 in the Town of Arcadia, the son of Edmund and Bertha Waeghe De Looze. He retired from the Newark Developmental Center in 1982. Gene was a member of the Port Gibson Fire Department for 54 years. An Army veteran, he served in Germany during World War II and as a reservist he was called to active duty to serve in Korea during the Korean Conflict. McGovern, Floyd R. - Floyd R. McGovern, 89, of 456 West Avenue, Newark, died Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at his home. There were no calling hours, however, friends and family paid respects at a Memorial Service Saturday morning at the Park Presbyterian Church in Newark. A private graveside service will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be sent to the American Diabetes Association at 595 Blossom Rd, Suite 208, Rochester, NY 14610. Floyd was born in Hemmingford, Quebec on January 15, 1916, son of Norman J. McGovern and Anna Ethel Brown. Mr. McGovern served in the U.S. Air Force in England during World War II. After returning home in 1945, Floyd was employed at Garlock in Palmyra until his retirement in 1968. He is survived by his wife, Molly, son Floyd Jr. (Sharon Beck), son Britt (Sandy), a daughter Leslie (Lenno Barnhart), nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. McGovern is also survived by one sister, Ethel A. Herman, of Newark. Floyd was pre-deceased by five older brothers, Norman, Perco, Willard, Carl, and Earl.

Roeland, Francis B. - Francis B. Roeland, 84, of Thompson Road, Clifton Springs, died Saturday (April 23, 2005) at the Wayne County Nursing Home. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A memorial service to celebrate Francis's life will be offered at a later date. Friends may contribute to Fingerlakes Community Cancer Center. Francis was born Nov. 22, 1920, son of Jacob and Eva Marie Roeland, and had lived in the area all of his life. He served his country in the Navy during World War II. Francis retired from Garlock Sealing Technologies after many years of service. He was a member of the Phelps American Legion. He loved teaching his family the art of fly fishing, loved the outdoors, camping and traveling with his wife. Francis will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie of Clifton Springs; children, James Roeland of Clifton Springs, Edward (Janice) Roeland of Clifton Springs, Kathleen (Harry Bailey) Roeland of Rochester and Steven (Kathy) Roeland of Clifton Springs; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline Richardson of Sarasota, FL; several nieces and nephews. He was a long time member of the Park Presbyterian Church in Newark, where he served as an elder. He enjoyed boating, camping and the outdoors. Mr. Chappell loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth Peck Chappell; two sons, Gary (Patricia) Chappell Jr. of Downingtown, PA; and Douglas (Ruri) Chappell of Sheldrake; two daughters, Laura (Michael) Krolak of Los Gatos, CA, and Holly (Matthew) Bond of Canandaigua; his father, Elmer (Jeannette) Chappell of Auburn; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many dear friends. Nary, Robert J. - Robert J.'Bob' Nary, 78, of Jason Drive, Newark, died May 19, 2005 at Rochester General Hospital. He was born September 16, 1926 in Rochester, son of Raymond and Elizabeth Hemmer Nary. Bob was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army's 43rd Engineering and Construction Battalion during the occupation of Japan. Bob retired in 1997 as a manufacturer's representative in the security systems industry. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Newark, where he was for many years the Chairman of the Trustees, the Finance Committee and the Improvements and Beautification Committee. Bob was a member of the Methodist Men and the Newark Country Club. For many years Bob was also known as 'Clancy The Clown' bringing cheer to children and adults alike, performing during church coffee hours, and in parades through his clown ministry. Rotary was the focus of a great deal of Bob Nary's energy. Like others before him, he set an example of what being a Rotarian means. Joining the local club in 1987, he served as President, and for many years, club secretary. He was the Rotary's Area Representative and served as Assistant District Governor. He was a major force in the starting of the Wayne County Spelling Bee, District Golf Tournament, T. Spencer Knight Park beautification, Perkins Park beautification committee and active in Rotary Pancake Day, and Rotary Hill Cumorah Concessions. A Rotary Foundation Benefactor, Nary also received the most prestigious award in Rotary - The Paul Harris Fellowship. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carole Jolley Nary; his son, John (Jacqueline) Nary of Painted Post; three daughters, Lara Nary Pastakia of Aberdeen, NJ; Victoria (Gary) Martin of Sturgis, Michigan; and Elizabeth Ackerman of Freedom; four grandchildren; a brother, Raymond (Diane) Nary, Jr., of Rochester; two sisters, Elizabeth (Albert) Szembrot of Henrietta and Anne Nary of Rochester. Arrangements were entrusted to the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller St. in Newark. Services were held at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Elton Smith officiating. Strecker, Thornton Jr. - Thorton Duane Strecker, Jr., 58 died Saturday, May 21, 2005 at the Albany Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 27 at Oaklawn Cemetery, Oak Corners with Father Peter Clifford. Memorials in his name may be made to the Habitat for Humanity. Mr. Strecker was born in Englewood, New Jersey on April 23, 1947, the son of Thornton and Margaret Hohensee Strecker, Sr. He graduated from River Dell High School in Oradell, New Jersey. He then attended college for a couple of years. Thornton retired from the US Navy on disability after serving for six years on a destroyer, the USS Knox, during the Viet Nam War. He has lived in the Albany area the past fifteen years. He is survived by his sister Barbara Rathbun of Clifton Springs, several aunts and uncles, a nephew and niece, and nine cousins. Monje, Frans - Frans Monje, 84, of Newark, died May 24, 2005 at Strong Memorial Hospital. Friends may call from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 on Thursday (May 26) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday (May 27) in Chapel of the Park Presbyterian Church, Maple Court, Newark with the Rev. Deborah Grohman officiating. He was born September 10, 1920, in the Netherlands, a son of Petrus and Pietranella Monje. During World War II, Frans was a decorated member of the Dutch underground. He was captured by the German Army and later liberated by the Americans. Finally he came to the United State in 1950 and operated his plumbing and heating business in Newark until recently. He was a member of the Park Presbyterian Church and had been a Sunday school teacher. Frans was a Foster Grandparent in Newark schools for several years, a volunteer with Newark Police Auxiliary, and member of the Newark Elks. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Johanna 'Joan' Monje, a daughter Pietranella 'Nellie' Colarocco of Newark, four grandchildren Marina (Matthew) Crider, James (Susan) Westcott, Johanna (Lawrence) Hammond and Thomas A. Colarocco; six great grandchildren, four brothers and sister survive in the Netherlands. He was also predeceased by four brothers and sisters

After moving to Newark, she joined the First United Methodist Church in 1954, where she was an active member. She served as the secretary of the Administrative Council, member of the Ruth Circle, and the quilters group. She also taught Sunday school and was on the kitchen committee. Jane was co-president of the United Methodist Women and had served as the group's secretary. She is survived by three daughters, Jayne (Donald) Ward of Sayre, PA; Lorrie (John) Sorensen of Palmyra and Carol (John) Wilck of Franklin, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony, in January 2004, and by one brother and five sisters.

Foster, Richard - Richard L. Foster, 71, of Newark, died May 24, 2005 at the De May Living Center. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on May 26 at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday (May 27) at First United Methodist Church, South Main Street, Newark with the Rev. Dick was born May 25, 1933, in Irondequoit, the son of Ivan and Harriet Dewey Foster. A mechanic by profession, he owned and operated Foster's Mobil Station on South Main Street for many years. He then was employed by the Harris Timble & Ron Begys Garage in Ontario until he retired in 1994 because of ill health. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. For 18 years, he served with the US Army's Reserves, 98th Infantry Division. He loved camping with his family in the Adirondacks and cooking, especially late at night around the campfire. He was a model car buff. His great sense of humor and teasing will be missed by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Krebbeks Foster, sons James (Linda) of Newark, John (Laurie) of Sodus and Jerrold of Newark, eight grandchildren Jaime, Justin, Joey, Elizabeth, Emily and Jerri Foster, Kimberly (Tim) Strickland and Kristina DeVolder, one great grandchild; a brother Carlton of Hemet, Ca., two sisters Blanche Kemp of Macedon and Lorraine Ferrin of Clifton Springs several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Sharrow, Althea A. - Althea A. Sharrow, 88, of Port Gibson, died at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital with her loving family by her side on Sunday, May 22, 2005. Harry was a life member of the Newark Elks Lodge and a member of the August Mauer Post of the American Legion. He served in the Army during World War II, stationed in Guadalcanal and Luzon for two years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Martha; sons, Gary (Janis) Weaver of Livonia and Mark (Patricia) Weaver of Newark; four grandchildren, Aaron (Michelle), John, Katie Weaver and Jessica (Todd) Wojtalewski; two great-grandchildren, Marissa Weaver and Evan Wojtalewski; brothers, Thomas of Palmyra and William of Canandaigua; and a sister, Helen Stiggins of Canandaigua.

DeYulio, Thomas F. - Thomas F. DeYulio, 55, of 695 Preece Road, passed away Thursday (May 19, 2005) at Geneva General Hospital. Family and friends called at the Palmisano Funeral Home. Funeral services were Monday (May 23) at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m. at St.. Francis DeSales Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. He is the son of Mary Tandle DeYulio and the late James F. DeYulio. He was the supervisor of maintenance operations at the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station and recently retired after 37 years of service. He was an avid card player and enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was a member of St. Francis DeSales Church. Nancy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Newark where she was treasurer of the UMW for many years. She delivered meals with Meals on Wheels for over 32 years and was active with Friends of the Newark Library. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Donald E., her children Kirk Palmatier of Washington, DC, Durry (Brian) Lincalis of Relay, Maryland and Kern (Mark) Michal of Efland, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Grady and Katarina Lincalis, Cade, Kody and Cass Michal; and three nephews. Nancy was predeceased by a brother Alfred Becker and a sister Clare Reed.

Johnston, Julia - Julia Johnston, 95, of Marion, died May 2, 2005. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Raymond Sr.; her brothers, John, Anthony, and Patrick Assad; and her sister Rose Negus. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Arthur) Barrett; her son, Raymond (Nancy Langenstein) Johnston Jr. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Kimberly (Steven) Jackson, Laura (Armis) Pilotti, Steven (Mary) Barrett, Julie (Paul) Schmidt, Robert Barrett, Seth (Jessica) Johnston, and Sarah Johnston. Ten great-grandchildren, Lindsay and Brett Jackson, Olivia Pilotti, Evan, Jesse and Anna Barrett, Paul and Allyson Schmidt, Joshua and Emily Barrett; her sister, Mary Mocca; and many nieces and nephews. After many years as a homemaker, she began her career as credit manager of Hallman Chevrolet. In her retirement, she and Ray spent many happy winters in Florida. Throughout her life, she showed us how to engage life and in the end how to leave it. She spent her last days as she lived, with style and dignity. Rood, Margaret - Margaret Rood, of Marion, died May 4, 2005 after a long illness. Retired from Duffy Motts after 20 years of service. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Donald Rood in 1999. Norsen, Harold A. - Harold A. Norsen of Wexford Way, Port Orange, died Friday, May 6, 2005, will be memorialized at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange. Mr. Norsen was born April 18, 1924 to William and Florence (DePauw) Norsen of Newark. He proudly served his country during WW II as a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over 30 years and retired in January 1981 and after he retired he moved with his wife Elsie to Florida. He was a lifelong animal lover. Mr. Norsen was a lifetime member of the VFW. Left to fondly cherish his memory are his wife Elsie (Hermenet) of nearly 59 years; daughter, Linda (John) Pickering of Mendon; son, Terry (Dottie) of Victor; four grandchildren, Michael (Caren) Pickering of Portland, OR, Brian (Jill) Pickering of Peterborough, NH, Dottie Beth (Jason) Augustine of Farmington, and Mandy Norsen of Rochester; three great-grandchildren, Owen, Lily, and Cadence; brother, Richard of Newark; step-sister, Irene Cottrell of Waterloo; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and sorrowing friends. He is survived by two brothers, Samuel (Dottie) of Germantown, and John (Harriett) of Bellingham, WA; five sisters, Angeline Fortuna of California, Isabelle (Chester) Harvey of Newark, Mary (Ed) Nellis of Williamsville, Betty (Bill) Viola and Frances (Al) Sprague of Newark; nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Betty Grant of Rochester. Warburton, Ethel R. - Ethel R. Warburton, 96, died at St. Luke's Residence in Oswego, May 2, 2005. She was born near Lyons, New York, daughter of Ina and Sealey Peck. A graduate of Gereseo Normal School, she taught in Perry, Phelps Central and Newark Schools. An avid golfer, she assisted with and participated in golf opens at Pinehurst, NC while residing in Southern Pines, North Carolina. She will be remembered fondly for her inspirational paintings, crafts, dress-making and marionettes. Mrs. Warburton was predeceased by her husband of eighteen years Shirrel Weigel in 1956, her husband of fourteen years, Oscar Hess in 1982, and her husband Donald Warburton in 1995. Surviving are a daugmter, Sheri Czerwiak of Fulton; son C. Martin Weigel of Pulaski; granddaughters Kristina DuBois of Amsterdam, Renee Maxwell of Phoenix, Amy Lugowski, of Colorado; grandsons Eric Weigel of Fairport, and Andrew Weigel of Pulaski; sisters, Blanche Gifford, Gertrude Bennet, Shirley Totman; brothers, Robert Peck and Dr. Nathan Peck; many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. After a graveside service on May 21, her ashes will be buried in the Glenwood Cemetery alongside her first husband, in Perry, NY. Wildey, John R. - John R. Wildey, 84, of Lyons/Palmyra, died Sunday (May 1, 2005) at Clifton Springs Hospital. Funeral services will be private. Mr. Wildey was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Rochester, the son of Edwin and Mary Bindrum Wildey. He was retired from Rochester Telephone Co., where he had been a supervisor in the service bureau. A member of the Palmyra Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he had served five ministries for the Church. Mr. Wildey founded the first chapter of National Campers and Hikers Association, where he served as its president. He then established 13 other local chapters and served as the Northeast Regional Director. John served on the boards of directors the Wayne County Habitat of Humanity and the William Phelps Store Museum in Palmyra. During World War II, he served with the Army Air Corps. He is survived by his wife, June, of Lyons; daughter, Gail (George) Harmston; and a son, Gary (Beth) Wildey of Palmyra; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. John was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Roy.

DeMarco, Rosalie Theresa (Traicchio) - Rosalie Theresa (Traicchio) DeMarco, 78, of Christopher Heights, South Main Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts; a loving and devoted mother, mother-in-law and grandmother, died Friday, April 29, 2005 at the Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Cosmo DeMarco, Sr. to whom she was married on August 18, 1948 and who died in August 1995. Born in Newark, New York on August 29, 1926, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Marone) Traicchio. She was a lifelong resident of Newark until moving to Attleboro in November 2003 to be close to her cherished family. Mrs. DeMarco was a 1944 graduate of Newark High School and later took several college courses. She had been employed as a secretary at the Clifton Springs Hospital in Clifton Springs, New York from 1980 - 1995, when she retired. Previously, she had been employed at the Lincoln-Rochester Savings Bank. Since moving to Attleboro, Mrs. DeMarco was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. In Newark, she was a lifetime communicant of St. Michael's Church where she was a volunteer for the church's women's group entitled 'Martha's Ministries' that hosted collations for families following funeral Masses. A social person, she loved to engage others in conversation. Her favorite times included playing cards, cooking and baking, watching movies, dining out and traveling. However, her most treasured times were those spent in the company of family and close friends. She leaves two sons: Thomas Cosmo DeMarco, Jr., and his wife, Theresa (Haggerty) DeMarco of Norton and Lawrence Anthony DeMarco of Attleboro; four beloved grandchildren: Angela DeMarco and Thomas Cosmo DeMarco III, both of Norton, and Vincenzo DeMarco and Liliana DeMarco both of Attleboro; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. DeMarco was predeceased by her two brothers: Paul Traicchio and James Traicchio and a sister: Mary Comella. Naeve, Marcella Temple - Marcella Temple Naeve, 82, of Phelps, died April 28, 2005 in Waterloo. Marcella was born September 4, 1922, in Rochester, daughter of the late Martin and Loretto Prahler Casey. She was a graduate of Livonia High School. She retired from the Newark State School after more than 20 years; she had lived in Newark for 35 years before moving to Phelps. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, sewing, painting and wood carving. She was married to Lee Temple, who died in 1974. She is survived by her husband Glenn C. Naeve of Phelps; her children, Thomas (Sandra) Temple of Florida, Robert (Ruth) Temple of Iowa, Martin Temple of Seneca Falls, Joyce (Gerald) Larsen of Cornwall, and David Naeve of Florida; a sister, Mary Bailey of Rochester; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Lagana, Barbara Jean - Barbara Jean 'Mom' Lagana, 76, of Lantana, FL, formerly of Newark, passed away peacefully Saturday (April 23, 2005) surrounded by the love of her family. The family will gather for a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (April 27) at The Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1000 Lantana Road, Lantana, FL. There will also be a service in Newark, at the convenience of her children at a future date. Mom loved the companionship of her animals so much that the family has asked that contributions be given in her name to the local humane society. Mom was born April 13,1929, in Pulteney, and lived in Newark before moving to Lantana in 1971. She was actively involved in St. Michael's Parish in Newark and the Lourdes Residence, a retirement home in Lantana before retirement. She is survived by her children, Frank (Julie) of Lakeworth, FL, Arthur of Lantana, FL, Joan (Jim) Evarts of Ontario, Jean (Wayne) Workman of Lantana, FL, and Anthony of Rochester; eight grandchildren, Lisa, Anthony, Arthur, Jason, Alisha, Christina, James and Shawn; three great-grandchildren, Leah, Jacob and Jonathan; numerous nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Maxine Kelly of Charlotte, NC, Joyce Petrie of Arkport, Mary Corby of Corning, and June Rice of Clifton Springs, along with several half-brothers and sisters. Felten, Lester G. - Lester G. Felten, 89, of 947 Sohn-Alloway Road, Lyons, died Tuesday (April 26, 2005) at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. Mr. Felten was born Aug. 14, 1915 in Lyons, son of William and Laura Bremer Felten. He worked as a custom carpenter for several years and enjoyed it as a hobby as well. He retired from the state Department of Labor. He served in World War II and was a life member of VFW Post 5092. An active member of Grace Episcopal Church, he served as lay reader, choir member, warden and participated in many ecumenical events. He was a trustee at the Lyons Public Library for many years, delivered Meals on Wheels and belonged to Lyons Historical Society and Retired Citizens. Surviving are his wife, Alice Murphy; one daughter, Donna (Britton) Wood, both of Lyons; two grandsons, Blair (Shannon) Wood of Great Valley and Todd (Cristina) Wood of Newark; one great-grandson, Bryce Wood of Great Valley; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Rojas, Joshua Patricio, Joshua Patricio Rojas, 11, of Irondequoit, died suddenly on April 26, 2005. He was a student at Iroquois Middle School in West Irondequoit. He is survived by his parents, Patricio and Kristin (Stevens) Rojas, formerly of Newark; his sister Katrina at home; his paternal grandparents, Patricio Sr. and Carmen Rojas of Newark; maternal grandparents, Daniel and Rosemarie Stevens of Newark; aunts, uncles and cousins. Josh was a member of the Irondequoit Pee Wee Wrestling Club, the Irondequoit Soccer Club and Irondequoit Screaming Eagles. Monje, Joyce R. - Joyce Ruth Monje, 78, of Newark, died April 24, 2005, peacefully and with her family by her side, at the House of John in Clifton Springs. Family and friends may attend a celebration of her life at the home of John and Jennifer Hurlburt, 114 Georgianna St., Newark on May 7, from 1 to 4. Joyce was born August 9, 1926 in Rochester, the daughter of the late Harvey and Lula Winnie Stripp. She was a graduate of West High School and had attended Heidelberg College in Ohio. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, ice skating and watching the New York Yankees. She worked for the Newark Chamber of Commerce as the secretary and was instrumental in the starting the Newarkfest. She will be remembered by her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, Richard Monje; son John Monje of Delhi; daughters Sharon (Joseph) Monje Lawson of Prattsburgh, Marcia (Brian) Olenych of Bovina Center and Jennifer (John) Hurlburt of Newark; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister Janet Brooking of KS; several nieces and nephews; and her pet dog Ruby.

Marlow, Sherry Ann - Sherry Ann (Mott) Marlow, 39, of Palmyra, died unexpectedly Friday, April 22, 2005. Sherry was born the daughter of George and Nancy Reeves Mott on August 17, 1965 in Newark, NY. She was a graduate of Newark High School in 1985. Sherry loved country music and listening to guitar music. She enjoyed being with her sons and family. Sherry will be remembered by her husband Leonard Marlow; sons John and Tim Stewart and Travis Beluke; parents George and Nancy Mott of Palmyra; sisters Bonnie Cook and Christine (David) Klino both of Newark; nephews Don and Robert; nieces Melissa and Tiffany; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Steve, Thomas - Thomas A. Steve, 87, of Clyde, died April 21, 2005 at Geneva General Hospital, following a brief illness. Thomas was born Sept. 15, 1917, in Clyde, son of Amedio and Maria Salerno Steffannucio. He was a life resident of Clyde and a member of St. John the Evangelist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II, member of the Brown-DiSanto Post #226 of the American Legion, and the Bud Hinman Post #947 of the VFW in Clyde. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #897 in Newark. He was retired from the Wayne County Highway Department. He was a past member of the Clyde Fire Department, past member of the Clyde Vol. Ambulance Corps, past member of St. John's Church Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Jennie Varalli Steve of Clyde, whom he married on June 1, 1946; their son, Michael (Brenda) Steve of Clyde; two daughters, Beverly (James) Verbridge of Newark, and JoAnne (Barry) Glena of Clyde; four grandsons, Bret (Amy) Steve, Brad (Deanna) Steve; Scott (Patty) Verbridge and Matthew (Bree) Verbridge; and four great-grandchildren, Carter Thomas Steve, Preston Colvin Steve, Sydni Verbridge and Morgan Verbridge. Arrangements were entrusted to the Baris Funeral Home, 87 W Genesee St. in Clyde. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Clyde, with the Rev. Burdick, Kenneth - Kenneth R. Burdick, 85, died April 20, 2005 at Wayne County Nursing Home. Kenneth was born Feb. 3, 1920, in Branchport, to Charles and Margaret Babel Burdick. He was a bus driver in Penn Yan. He served with the Navy during World War II. He is survived by good friends Kathy and Cliff DeCann. Stell, Arthur F. - Arthur F. Stell, 49, of Holley Street, Lyons, died Sunday (April 17, 2005) at his home. Vanderbrook, Hazel Ridley - Hazel Ridley Vanderbrook, 103, of Marbletown, died Wednesday (April 13, 2005) at Rochester General Hospital. There will be no prior calling hours. Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in East Newark Cemetery. Memorials in her name may be made to one's favorite charity. Mrs. Vanderbrook was born Dec. 27, 1901, in Newark, the daughter of Nelson and Mary Pelis Ridley. A graduate of the Geneseo Normal School, she taught school in the Clark District for a few years. Hazel retired from C.W. Stuart Nursery in 1966 where she had been a secretary. With love for flowers, she also had worked for Graham Florist making floral arrangements. She was active in Home Bureau, was an avid card player and belonged to a ladies pinochle club for over 50 years. She is survived by three sons, Gene (Ruth) of Tonawanda, Don of Newbury, Ohio, and Gary of Newark; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Hazel was predeceased by her husband, Leon in 1982; her sisters, Neva, Edith and Lola, and a brother, Myrle. The family is being served by the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home.

He was a farm laborer in the area for many years and he had lived at Maple Hill Rest Home in Clyde before going to the Wayne County Nursing Home. He taught Vocational Agriculture at Clyde Central School for 1 year before entering the Armored Forces 8/30/41 at Fort Knox, KY. There, he completed Basic Training and Officer's Candidate School. He married Eleanor Tuxill of Weedsport 4/14/42. Harold's first army assignment was to join the 755th Tank Battalion training in the Mohave Desert, CA, under General George Patton. The 755th was in England by August 1942 (its tanks were lost enroute in the mid-Atlantic). By 1/4/43, with new tanks, the 755th was in North Africa. It was in combat near Naples, Italy by November 1943. Rome was not reached until 6/4/44 and the Po Valley was not until 6/1945 as the war in England ended. Harold returned July 1945 to Williamson, his parents, his wife and to meet for the first time his son Dale, 2 years and 4 months old. Harold returned to Fort Knox. His final separation was 3/15/46 as a Major. He had been awarded in Italy the French Croix de Guerre and the U.S. Purple Heart. Following the war, Harold worked in food processing for 36 years, first with Curtice Brothers Company and secondly with Curtice-Burns. The family lived in Byron. Harold was a Mason for 55 years, a Master of Bergen's Hesperdus Lodge in 1952. He was Byron Supervisor for one term. Harold and Eleanor moved to 1400 East Avenue in 1985. During his retirement, Harold researched the genealogy of Dutch families in Wayne County aided by sources in Holland. He also has relatives living in Holland. He traced his family, de Bruijne, through 16 generations to French Flanders in 1510 near the present French city of Lille. Harold had a special interest in the East Williamson Church organized with 92 charter members in 1847, the first in Wayne County by the new wave of Dutch immigrants. The church had expanded in 1945 to a membership of 412. Harold's maternal great-grandfather Johannes Van Horde was an elder 1865-1905. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 15, 2005 at the Twelve Corners Presbyterian Church, 1200 Winton Rd. Byers, Thelma M. (Wemesfelder) - Thelma M. (Wemesfelder) Byers, 85, of Sodus, died April 8, 2005. She is Predeceased by her husband, William Byers; daughter-in-law, Sandra Wemesfelder; grandchild, Megan Wemesfelder & Randall Aceto, and 5 siblings. She is survived by children, Judy (Herb) Aceto, William Wemesfelder, Ellen (Chuck) Beck, John (Sandra) Wemesfelder, Joan (Wade) McClellan; 20 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Jeanette Luckenbach, Margaret Wahl, and Douglas (Midge) Jordan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. DeRosia, Leo A. Sr. - Leo A. DeRosia, Sr., 69, of Sodus, died April 10, 2005. Survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Mavis (Perkins) DeRosia; children, Carol Barry of VT, Cathy (Brad) Shaw of Red Creek, Leo Jr. (Janice) DeRosia of Lyons, Kim (Ken) Hofstra of Sodus, Katrina (John) Millon of Sodus; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Lil Jeffries of VT, Irene Garrad of MA. Dennis, Elizabeth 'Betty' - Elizabeth Dennis, 88, died Friday (April 8, 2005) at the Clifton Springs Nursing Home. Arrangements by Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller St. in Newark. Mrs. Dennis was born Sept. 24, 1916 in Angelica, the daughter of William and Marie Lehman Gaus. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Newark. Betty enjoyed quilting, as well as raising horses with her husband, Walter, who died in 1985. She is survived by two sons, Alan (Karen) of Evanston, Ill.; and Brent (Tina) of Phelps; three granddaughters, Cary, Amanda and Kirby Dennis; a brother, Albert (Betty) Gaus of Fredonia; several nieces and nephews.

Garling, Doris M. - Doris M. Garling, 78, formerly of Clifton Springs, passed away Thursday (April 7, 2005) at the Wayne County Nursing Home. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today (Monday, April 11) at the Patrick Funeral Home, 26 W. Main St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday (April 12) at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Pioneer Cemetery. Doris was born July 17, 1926 in Canandaigua, the daughter of Harry and Louise Washburn, and had lived in the area all of her life. She worked at Acme Markets in Geneva. Doris was a former member of the Grange and the Kings Daughters. She loved to root for the old Brooklyn Dodgers baseball team and spend time with her family. Doris is survived by her husband, Charles E. Garling of Texas; two sons, Charles Garling of Clifton Springs and Harry (Barbara) Garling of Newark; a daughter, Elsie May Shorter of Texas; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Hoefen, Mark Robert - Mark Robert Hoefen, of Tampa FL, formerly of Marion, NY, entered into rest suddenly, April 2, 2005. Born May 20, 1978. He was a graduate of Marion Central School, had attended MCC and St. John Fisher College, and was an employee of USAA Bank. He is survived by life partner, Roland Martin of Tampa, FL; parents, John and Judy Hoefen of Marion; maternal grandparents, Leslie and Lorraine Olney of Liverpool, NY; brothers, John (Karen) Hoefen of Farmiqgton, and Jeffrey (Rhonda) Hoefen of Rochester; a niece and nephew; and many uncles, aunts & cousins. Dapolito, Joseph J. - Joseph J. Dapolito , 73, of Phelps St., Lyons, died suddenly, Monday, April 4, 2005. Surviving are his wife Gloria; daughter, Anne Dapolito of Lyons; brother, John & Midge; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, and son, Mark in 1990. Joseph was born in Clyde on November 18, 1931, a son to Antonio A. and Christina M. Molinaro Dapolito. He retired from North American Phillips ECG (Sylvania) in Seneca Falls. He held 2 patents on color TV manufacturing, and was an avid golfer, a 35-year member of-the Wayne Hills Country Club and previously Sodus Heights Golf Club. He also loved to cook. Friends may call today (Thursday, April 7) from 4-7 p.m. at the Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St. in Lyons. Prayers will be said at 7 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday (Apr. 8) at 10:30 a.m. at the South Lyons Cemetery. Mrs. Lundy was born December 4, 1912 in Union Springs, AL. She moved to the Wayne County area in 1953 and had worked on several area farms. She is survived by a son Clyde (Kathy) Lundy of Greece, NY, a daughter Esther (Thomas) Warren of Lyons, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Green, Dena (Gardner) - Dena Green, 41, of Palmyra, died peacefully at home on April 2, 2005. Aikey, Helen F. - Helen F. Aikey, 79, formerly of Clyde, died Friday (April 1, 2005) at Rochester General Hospital following an extended illness. Arrangements by Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Helen was born Aug. 12,1925 in Allentown, PA, the daughter of Thomas and Cora Watson Soule. She had been a resident of Clyde for the past 46 years and had attended services at the Christ Community Church in Clyde. Many years ago, she was employed by the Hemmingway Canning Corp. of Clyde. She is survived by her husband, Frank Aikey of Lyons; her son, Arthur Kenyon of Lyons; seven daughters, Sarah Thomas of Newark, Shirley Wolleck of Lyons, Judy Kenyon of Newark, Fran Myrick of Louisiana, Patricia Hardy of Newark, Polly Olmstead of Newark and Lisa Machol of Orlando, FL; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; her brother, Steven Soule of Zephyrhills, FL. She was predeceased by her son John Carrasquillo in 1983.

Atkinson, Richard F. Jr. - Richard F. Atkinson Jr., 52, of 29 Orchard Park, died peacefully Friday (April 1, 2005) at Geneva General Hospital surrounded by his family. Rich was born June 25,1952 in Clifton Springs, the son of Richard F. and Esther M. Clapton Atkinson Sr. Rich was a member of the Buckhorn Sportsman Club in Phelps and the Sons of American Legion Post 456 in Phelps. Richie is survived by his wife, Cindy Atkinson of Phelps; son, Tucker Atkinson of Phelps; daughter, Amy (Bill McNicholas) Atkinson of Geneva; Richie's ray of sunshine - his granddaughter, Madison McNicholas; his father, Richard F. Atkinson Sr. of Phelps; brothers and sisters, James Atkinson of Phelps, Debbie Rugg of Dresden, Jeff Atkinson of Dresden, Cheryl (Daren) Hammond of Phelps and Terry (Paula) Atkinson of Phelps; aunts and uncles, Bill and Sue Dinges of Rockford, IL; David R. Fowler, Helena T. - Helena T. Fowler, 88, of Lyons, died Saturday (April 2, 2005). Friends called at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, Sohn-Alloway Road in Lyons, where services were held yesterday. Burial will be in South Lyons Cemetery in Lyons. Helen was born Nov. 22,1916 in Lyons, a daughter to Joseph H. and Lillie Albrecht Travell. She retired from the Newark Developmental Center after 28 years of employment. Helena was a 65-year member of the Eureka Grange, a piano and organ player and sang with her twin sister, Helen, since childhood. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lloyd; two sons, Joseph (Elizabeth) Fowler of Pulaski and Paul (Diane) Fowler of Victor; six grandchildren, Deborah, Noel, William, Christine, Erika and James; and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Helen, who died March 10, 2005. Arrangements are by the Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home in Lyons.
